Softball Tryouts

 28th and 29th at Winterview Park, times are TBA.


Baseball Tryouts
August 3rd, 
4th, and 5th at the legion baseball field from 9am to 11am. 


First practice is August 3rd at 10 a.m. Meet by the gym doors.

All athletes must have a current physical to participate in tryouts.  Please follow North Ridge Athletics on Facebook for updates and any changes that might occur.North Ridge will be following the return to play guidelines set by the health department as well as guidelines approved from the district and IHSA/IESA. Feel free to email Athletic Director Drew O'Connell at with any questions.

Erin’s Law
Erin’s Law is named after childhood sexual assault survivor, author, speaker and activist Erin Merryn. Erin’s Law (in Illinois, Public Act 96-1524) mandates that Illinois public schools provide training to certified staff on prevention of child sexual abuse. It also mandates that public school children pre-kindergarten through 12th grade be educated on how to protect themselves from sexual abuse. Students learn age-appropriate techniques to recognize child sexual abuse and tell a trusted adult. School personnel learn about child sexual abuse. Any questions or concerns can be addressed by building administrators, guidance counselors or school social workers.
